Deal execution: the Ducket Operating System

Argus tells you what moved in the market. The Ducket Operating System is the separate product that helps you find and assess prospects for your event, and the outreach machinery to work it. This page is a summary; the OS has its own onboarding with the Ducket team.

Two products, one boundary

The split is deliberate and strict. Argus watches the whole tracked market and never ranks anything for your event. Source assesses prospects for your event and never claims market-wide awareness. The one bridge between them is Hot Leads: when market movement makes a company relevant to your event, Argus shows the trigger, and acting on it happens in the OS.

The Hot Leads surface bridging Argus signals to deal work
Hot Leads: market movement relevant to your event, each with its trigger. The order is deterministic and the note on screen says exactly how it is computed.

A sponsor coming off someone else's roster is the strongest trigger Hot Leads carries, so it is only allowed to cross the bridge when the absence can be read competently. A drop is left out when the corpus still serves that company as a current sponsor of that same edition, and when the only evidence on file for them at that event is press coverage or the sponsor's own page, which can show a presence and can never show an absence. Every trigger left out for those reasons is counted and the count is kept with the result, because a shorter list should say why it is shorter. Those rows stay visible, labelled, in the Argus signal stream.

Source: from your event to a saved table

Use one conversation to describe the event and its audience. Say sponsors, exhibitors or both. If that is missing, Argus asks in the same thread. Attach a prospectus or paste a page. Send saves your words. Read saved message interprets them within the limit shown on screen.

Check the saved event summary. Reply in the same box to correct a price, change the audience, add exclusions or change your intent. Corrections save a new brief version and replace earlier values. Missing booth inventory stays pending. Historical packages, unknown prices and sold-out stands keep their restrictions.

Confirm the named ready searches before work begins. Sponsorship and exhibiting keep separate methods and limits. Both can share an event and company table. If one part cannot start, its pending state remains visible. A correction after dispatch is saved for a new plan; it does not change work already purchased. Check the separate limits and confirm additional work when needed. Unchanged searches are reused.

Choose a completed Source run to open its saved table directly. Reopening starts no research. Select a company to see its description and existing links. A verified identity can link to the shared Argus company profile. Each event keeps its own research, reports and permissions.

Read report opens a saved report when your workspace has access. Generate report appears when you can request fresh research. A first prepared-report open can use the stated report-open allowance; reopening the same report uses no additional open.

The report explains fit, signals, the recommendation, risks and contacts, with an editable outreach draft. Its qualifications remain in the recommendation and risks. Nothing sends an email from this view.

The recommendation and risks retain qualifications. Internal condition checks stay out of the report view.

Getting access

The OS is set up per organisation with the Ducket team, engagement by engagement. Access is enabled per organisation and is not included in the standard Argus plans. If you are an Argus subscriber and want the deal side, ask your Ducket contact.
